Devil from Hell to the City

The plot follows a devil, Lucifer Morningstar, who leaves hell and starts running a nightclub -Lux in Los Angeles city. Eventually, the events in the city led him to work for the city’s police department. Lucifer gets his lust for wine, women, and music in Los Angeles for which he left his throne in hell. His life takes a turn upon a murder outside Lux. Lucifer feels his soul get awakened with sympathy and compassion for the first time in eternity. Also, meeting Chloe, the homicide detective with traits of goodness, makes Lucifer awaken his humanity.

The characters of this fantasy superhero TV series are created by Sam Kieth, Neil Gaiman, and Mike Dringenberg. The series premiered on Fox under the banner of DC Comics and Warner Bros. It was created on the basis of a comic book – The Sandman. However, its release on fox entertainment couldn’t get many ratings for the first three seasons. A drastic change occurred when Lucifer stopped getting aired on Fox and Netflix picked it. There were huge ratings and critical acclaim as well.
